Colorado County (Columbus, Eagle Lake, Weimar) holds mortgage trustee sales on the first Tuesday.
Where Colorado County mortgage sales are called
The county’s posted location is the foyer, inside the main entrance, of the Colorado County Annex Building, 318 Spring Street, Columbus, TX 78934. Courtesy notices: Colorado County Clerk — foreclosure notices. The clerk does not conduct the sale.
Some older notices still say “courthouse door” or 400 Spring Street. Trust the address on your notice.
The calendar
First Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If that Tuesday is January 1 or July 4, the sale is the first Wednesday.
What to do today
- Copy date, time, and “318 Spring Street” (or whatever the notice says).
- Call the trustee and loss mitigation.
