Houston-area foreclosure sale locations

This is an educational site. We are not a law firm, not a HUD counselor, and we do not represent you with your lender or in court. Confirm the place of sale on your notice. The map is a courtesy — the paper in your hand wins.

Mortgage trustee sales are called in the county where the house sits, usually on the first Tuesday of the month between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If that Tuesday is January 1 or July 4, Texas law moves the sale to the first Wednesday. Use the county on the notice, not the mailing city — Katy, Cypress, Pearland, Cleveland, and Sealy cross county lines. Walker County (Huntsville) is not Waller County (Hempstead). Austin County (Bellville) is not the City of Austin.
